PRICE GUIDE

Pricing is determined by the size of the quilt and the complexity of the design to be quilted.  Quilting costs are calculated by the square inch.  To estimate your total quilting cost, multiply your top length x width (square inches) then multiply by the cost listed for type of quilting desired.  

Overall Large Meander  Stippling or loops over the entire top           $0.010 

Edge-to-Edge (Pantograph).  This technique creates an overall uniform pattern across the entire quilt top. Some patterns are very simple and will be charged at the low end of the price range; others can be very dense and require significantly more time to complete.  See pattern page design ideas                                            $0.011-.015

Edge-to-Edge with border treatments.  Same as above, but includes a different design in the borders, which requires unloading and turning the quilt   $0.022-.030

Custom Quilting. May include Stitch-in-the-Ditch (SID), stencil and ruler work, feathers, multiple borders and more.                                                    $0.030 and up

Basting for Hand Quilting. Horizontal lines approximately 4-5" apart for hand quilting convenience.   Minimum $35 setup fee.                                                $0.005

Batting (96" wide).  Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 cotton blend is available for purchase by the yard. I will cut it to be most advantageous to you, and charge to the nearest 1/4 yard.                                                                                                    $7.00/yard

Binding Application.  Machine sew to front only with binding prepared and provided by the customer. Returned to customer for handsewing to the back; mitered corners. Charged by the linear inch.                                                                   $0.10/inch
